More details have been released about Jake Owen's upcoming headlining tour for CMT. The tour, Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012, will kick off on October 10th in New York City with opening acts Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line.

Jake says, “Being the headliner of a tour is something I’ve been dreaming about since I was in college, performing songs every Sunday afternoon on a bar stool and playing for tips.”

Back in 2007, Jake opened for Sugarland on the CMT tour.

Jason Aldean has revealed some details about his upcoming album, Night Train, which will be released October 16th. Jason promises that, like his other albums, this one will be full of musical surprises. He says, "I don't like being put in a box, and I think with every record, we've had a lot of variety… Night Train is no different."

Jason's Night Train includes "The Only Way I Know," a collaboration with Luke Bryan and Eric Church.

                            

Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw will represent country on this year's Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day special. The show, which for many years was a weekend-long telethon hosted by Jerry Lewis, is now a three-hour special. MDA Show of Strength will air on various stations across the country on September 2nd at 8 pm [ET].
