Lady Antebellum's Own the Night is once again the nation's top country album, selling another 20,000 copies last week, according to the latest SoundScan figures. Luke Bryan's Tailgates and Tanlines also holds at number-two, selling 19,000, and Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party stays at number-three. The Band Perry move up a spot to number-four with their self-titled album, making room for Craig Morgan's This Ole Boy, which debuts at number-five. --Tammy Ragusa |

There's still a couple of weeks before Lionel Richie's country duet project, Tuskegee, hits stores, but on his YouTube page you can go into the studio for sessions with Billy Currington and Willie Nelson. You'll see that recording was a small part of the process. Lionel says many of the stars had stories and memories tied to his songs. He tells us that at times it was like "group therapy," but it connected him to each country star. |

Jerrod Niemann's tour bus caught fire on Tuesday night. According to Chattanooga, Tennessee's WRCB-TV, Jerrod had just performed at a benefit for St. Jude Children's Hospital and returned to his bus with his father, uncle and friends. Lee Brice, who was also at the event, alerted him of smoke pouring from the rear of the bus. Jerrod says, "We get everyone off, and pretty soon we hear this 'boom!' And we think it's the fuel line, but we look and the whole front windshield was just blown out." No one was injured, and all of his instruments were retrieved before the explosion. |
